With this being our second assignment, we had to measure and draw a specific site given to us. For my group and I, we were given C8 of Taylor's University Building. From there, we needed to use a specific scale and draw the site we were given.

PROCESS
My group wasn't the best there is, but everyone has to make do with what they have. Initially, I wanted to draw everything that is inside the site but then found out it was actually too hard with the time constrain I have. Measuring the site was a long process and it wasn't just a one time thing as a few of us went back a few times. Not to mention we have to stand on chairs and measure the cabling and fans.
With the first few weeks, progress was a bit slow because of my lack of experience in technical drawing. It was hard to distinguish line weights and not knowing what to emphasis on for each drawing. With that, Ms Ann helped a lot for every tutorial that I went. Crit was never easy to take in but it was needed to improve
Plan and elevation drawings were not very hard, but not too easy also. However, section was challenging as it is our first ever building section drawing. The hatching details and where to cut was all too new for me and this took some time to discover around it. With time, I manage to figure out how's and why's. Then again, I can honestly say this wasn't the best section I could offer.
Summing it up, this assignment was quite an eye opener to someone like me who hasn't really explore or touch much on technical drawing. It really helped me a lot to familiarise with the requirements Ms Ann was looking for.
